Early Life & European Ventures

Gianni Arcaini was born in Italy and began his professional career in the Netherlands. He served as President of Robex Internationale Recreatie Groep, a company originally owned by three publicly listed Dutch corporations — Koninklijke Bijenkorf, Westland Utrecht Bank, and Koninklijke Volker Stevin Groep. Robex operated in the leisure and recreation sector, focusing on modular leisure parks, creative real estate concepts, and large-scale development projects.

During this period, Arcaini gained experience in business strategy, operations management, and international expansion. His work with Robex established a foundation in managing complex projects and navigating the European business environment.

Expansion to the United States

Recognizing opportunities for growth beyond Europe, Arcaini completed a leveraged buyout (LBO) of Robex Internationale Recreatie Groep and established Robex International, Inc. in the United States. The company specialized in bringing European business practices, design approaches, and innovation strategies to North American markets.

Through this expansion, Arcaini worked on cross-border partnerships, consulting for international clients, and creating frameworks for European companies to enter the U.S. market. This phase of his career strengthened his expertise in global business development and strategic operations.

Gianni B. Arcaini was born in Milan, Italy to his parents, Marianne (Mädy) from Munich, Germany, and Prof. Ferruccio Arcaini, a proud Milanese Italian. He attended a Jesuit boarding school in Austria for his early education, followed by high school in Germany, and finally graduated from a state business school in Frankfurt, Germany.

Gianni grew up in Europe with his two older brothers and one older sister. Over the course of his professional life, he worked and resided in Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands before immigrating to Florida in 1983. He recently celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary and takes great pride in his three children (one daughter and two sons) and two grandchildren.

Gianni’s most recent position was as the founder, chairman, and
chief executive officer of a high-tech corporation specializing in
security and transportation industries. He led the company to its
public debut in 2015 and subsequently up-listed to NASDAQ in 2020.
After retiring in September of 2020, Gianni has been advising various businesses and chronicling his life experiences and thrilling adventures on paper.

Michael

This guide is a cooking mystery! Gianni Arcaini’s desire shines through a section of the book. The section on revealing myths about Italian cooking was predominantly helpful. I made the Piadina alla Romagnola a win at our dinner gathering. This cookbook imparts cooking and nurtures a profound admiration for Italian culture.

Wyatt

I was intimidated by Italian food as a beginner, but this book made it reachable. The section on regional specialisms presents flavors I never knew existed. I specifically liked the Risotto con l’Anguilla; it was creamy. The background tales enrich each recipe, making cooking feel like a trip through Italy.

Amber

The recipes are authentic as well as easy to navigate. I tried the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and it turned out restaurant-quality. Gianni Arcaini’s instructions on element selection and preparation techniques truly raise the cooking experience. This culinary guide has become my go-to kitchen buddy!

Kasey

I can’t endorse this culinary arts book enough! The varied collection of recipes stimulates me, and I love the importance of seasonal ingredients. The step-by-step guides assisted me in making a memorable Spongata for the holidays. Each recipe feels like a festivity of Italy’s cooking heritage, bringing a vibe to my family meetings.
